When five years just creeps up on you
Do you know those moments when you are engrossed in the day-to-day running of your business and doing work for your valued clients, that you completely let things just pass you by?
Well, this happened to me at the start of October 2025.
Many fantastic businesspeople I have had the privilege of chatting to and getting to know, learning all the time from them, have taught me to do something I have never been that great at doing – celebrating the wins.
Recently, I am afraid to say that these key lessons were overlooked (bad me!). Perhaps I am in need of a refresher course.

Cobra Kai!
A recent evening meant catch-up time on this Netflix series I started a while back but then, yes, you guessed it, the more pressing matters of business took over.
Anyway, it is a big thank you to the LaRusso Auto Group and their 18 years in business that reminded me about my recent fifth anniversary. Who said TV wasn’t good for you?!
Jokes aside, I will forever be indebted to the people who have helped me reach this milestone. As I was made redundant back in 2020, I genuinely never expected to be writing this.
There is a near-infinite number of people I would like to thank, but given this message is already a tad ‘War and Peace’ in its length, I’ll keep this list in reserve until the next time I see or speak to each individual.
Suffice to say, I couldn’t have done it without the fabulous folk who have put their trust in me and offered their amazing support. Nor would I have remembered to celebrate this occasion without the power of Cobra Kai!
